In 1991, Dan Freeman founded AW Canvas and Upholstery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 2005, the business relocated to Lexington, South Carolina. Upon arrival, he began the process of hiring staff, not only capable of producing outstanding automotive interior workmanship, but who were also familiar with the unique types of marine canvas and seating outfitted on local watercraft.
